ToggleExpress Entry profile, also known as EE, is an online application process for immigration. People can submit a profile and be taken into consideration as skilled immigrants. The top-ranked candidates are asked to seek permanent residency.
Express Entry oversees three different immigration programs:
Eligible candidates are required to submit an electronic form known as an Express Entry profile. This form asks for various personal facts such as age, employment experience, education, ability in French and English, details about the candidate’s family, and ties to Canada.
Canada uses this information to select who will be invited from the pool of Express Entry applicants based on their profile ranking versus others’.
How to create an Express Entry profile?
First, you must register for a private IRCC account before building your Express Entry profile. When a representative submits a profile on your behalf, they do it via the Authorized Paid Representatives Portal.
After creating an account, you or your representative must complete an eligibility form to see if you are eligible for an Express Entry program. If you’re qualified, the next step is to submit an online form with your information, which should include information about your age, employment history, education, and results of any language tests. The Express Entry system will automatically calculate your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score and the program(s) you are eligible for when you submit the form.
The Express Entry system requires applicants for all skilled immigration programs to demonstrate proficiency in at least one of Canada’s two official languages, English or French. Therefore, applicants for skilled immigration must take a language test the government has approved and include the test results in their profile.
credentials earned by applicants from countries other than Canada should be evaluated to determine whether or not they are comparable to Canadian degrees. Anyone interested in immigrating to Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker Program is required to have a credential assessment to proceed with the application process. If you are applying through the Federal Skilled Trades Program or the Canadian Experience Class, you are NOT required to take the assessment.
While not required for all Express Entry programs, a good assessment might boost an applicant’s chances of success. Therefore, it is advised that all applicants for all Express Entry programs get their credentials evaluated.
Anyone hoping to come to Canada through the Express Entry system must demonstrate that they have worked in a profession listed in the Canadian government’s National Occupation Classification.
Please remember that only applicants with the following types of job experience are eligible to apply for immigration through the Express Entry system.
Refugees, immigration, and Citizenship Canada’s website have a handy eligibility checker for the Express Entry system, which can tell you if you’re qualified to apply. Express Entry profiles cannot be created until this tool has been utilized.
It should be noted that candidates must:
If the online tool finds you qualified to submit an Express Entry immigration application, you may start creating your Express Entry profile.
The following details must be included in applicants’ Express Entry profiles.
Factors facilitating their adaptation to Canadian culture:
A profile must be completed by applicants having the following information on hand:
You can now send it in if you have finished filling up your profile and added all the required information. Following submission of the profile, you will get the following:
You will be added to the Express Entry candidate pool if your profile meets the Express Entry requirements and the requirements for one of the three Express Entry immigration programs (Skilled Worker, Skilled Trade, or Canada Experience Class).
Please be aware that just because you’ve been accepted into the pool does NOT guarantee that you will immediately be invited to apply for permanent residence. The Comprehensive Ranking System will assign each applicant who joins the collection a grade. An applicant will only be allowed to use it for permanent residence if their score falls within the lowest range established by the immigration minister during a regular draw.
Express Entry applicants are no longer required to register on Job Bank. Visit skilledworker.com, Immigration.ca’s internal recruitment agency, if you need help finding a job.
All applicants need to update their Express Entry profiles if:
A valid Express Entry profile is good for one year. An Express Entry profile, however, can lose its validity before the year is over if:
Note. If a candidate declines a request to apply for permanent residency, their profiles will revert to being active. Even if an applicant changes the information on their Express Entry profile, it still counts as legitimate. A candidate’s profile will be removed from the pool if a year goes by without them being invited to apply for permanent residency.
You must sign into your IRCC account, click “View the applications you submitted,” “Express Entry profile status,” and “View your profile” to see the current state of your Express Entry profile.
There is a 12-month expiration date for Express Entry profiles. However, if you lose your eligibility for Express Entry while still in the pool, your profile can be deleted before the expiration of the 12 months.
